Community engagement
The TransLink Transit Authority has a commitment to lead and deliver an integrated public transport system that is used and valued by the people of South East Queensland.
Part of this commitment is inviting and encouraging feedback from the community wherever possible on service changes and projects to ensure we meet community expectations and needs.
Engagement with the community is undertaken particularly when projects or services will directly affect a specific community, or in which the community may have a significant interest.
When engaging with the community, the TransLink Transit Authority:
- provides accessible, inclusive and productive mechanisms for the community and stakeholders to provide meaningful feedback on projects and service changes
- demonstrates their commitment to making public transport easy to catch
- strives for continuous improvement in shaping the future of public transport.
