Managing your card online

Make your life easier, avoid the queues and manage your go card when it suits you. It’s quick and easy.

Use my go card account to
  • top up your card balance
  • check your account balance
  • view your transaction history
  • change your personal details.


How to get online
  1. register your card (see 'registering your card' below)
  2. set up a password by calling TransLink on 13 12 30
  3. visit my go card account
  4. log in using your go card number and password



Registering your go card

You can register your go card
  • online (registration may take up to 48 hours)
  • by calling TransLink on 13 12 30
  • via post using the go card application form
  • at selected QR station ticket offices.

When you register your card, you will be asked to answer a security question. Remember your answer along with your go card number to help us quickly assist you if required. Do not reveal your answer to anyone; treat it like your banking PIN (Personal Identification Number).


Troubleshooting

How do I get a password?

Call TransLink on 13 12 30.

My password doesn't work

Check your caps lock key as your password is case sensitive. Remember, the answer to your security question (nominated at time of application) is not your password. If you are still experiencing difficulties, call TransLink on 13 12 30.

I can see a pound symbol (£) instead of a dollar symbol ($)

Your credit card will be charged the amount stated in AUD$ and not in Pounds. This is simply a display issue relating to the regional settings on your browser, this is because your default browser settings are English (UK).

If you would like to change the settings, just follow these instructions:
  • in the Internet Explorer browser window, click on Tools, then options
  • click on the advanced tab/icon
  • in the Languages section, click Choose
  • click on the dropdown menu Select a language to add
  • click on English/Australia [en-au]
  • click on Add
  • click on English/Australia [en-au] in the list of languages
  • click on Move Up until English/Australia [en-au] is at the top of the list
  • click on OK two times (until the options box has closed)
  • restart the browser.

How can I change my personal details?

You can change your address, contact details, security question, password and bank/credit card details at my go card account online or call TransLink on 13 12 30.
